Alaska Airlines is zeroing in on its next destination in Asia.
Speaking last week in Seattle, a top Alaska executive said the carrier was honing in on a new transpacific destination. It would be a new route for Alaska from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
"There will be a new destination in Asia that we're currently working on," Alaska chief commercial officer Andrew Harrison said.
Sadly, no hints beyond that: "That's all I can say," he added.
But any new Pacific routes would be a notable expansion for Alaska.
