• There are plenty of milestones in the first two years of life. Baby’s first smile, baby’s first words, baby’s first steps… but what about baby’s first holiday?
• According to a new survey of 2,000 British parents who have taken their little ones abroad at least once before the age of five, 82% agreed that it was a landmark family moment, while more than half called it “one of their proudest parenting milestones”.
• Now, easyJet is making it a little cheaper for those looking to head away with their sprogs as the airline group is offering to pay for the cost of a child’s passport in the UK.
• The £66.50 (€79.40) discount on easyJet holidays is available for one child under the age of 18 months per booking. You’ll need to book before 26 November, for travel before 31 October 2028. Infants will need to be under two years old at the time of travel.
• While the thought of travelling abroad with kids that young may be daunting, 48% of those polled said it was easier than they’d expected, and 87% would do it again.
