- During the 35-day refurbishment, the ship received her new funnel as well as a redesign of the casino, refreshed retail spaces, and the new bow crest.
- Carnival Cruise Line has also opened the ship’s 2028-2029 sailings from Norfolk, Virginia, with 6- and 8-night cruises now available to book.
- Carnival Freedom is ready to return to service complete with a new whale tail funnel and other updates and expansions. The 2,980-guest ship has been in dry dock at the Chantier Naval de Marseille shipyard in Marseille, France since September 1, 2026.
